Everything you need while you judge, in one place. Sign in and your own state appears at the top: what you have chosen, what is still open, and what happens next.
Reading…
You do not need to read this in order. The part you want is probably "How a ballot works", and everything else is here for the moment you need it.
Every entered work is open to you, not only the finalists. The gallery is the quickest way in; it shows what has arrived, field by field, and you can leave a reaction or a comment on anything at any time.
From the finalists in each field, pick the one. Or pick "no award" — deciding a field should not have a winner this year is a decision, and it is recorded as one.
A critique goes with each vote. One line is enough and length counts for nothing. What is written is published with the result, under your name — this is what reaches the creator, not the count.
One vote per field
A Final Judge holds one vote per field — the same as everyone else in the final round — and cannot veto, override, or re-open a result. No payment, partnership, or office position changes the weight of a vote.

Live from the award. Entries keep arriving until the deadline, so these move.

One work per field, with a note. You can change it until judging closes. Nothing is sent until you press save on that field.
Reading…
Nothing happens. Any field you have not reached by the deadline is read as "no award". There is nothing to hurry for, and nothing is lost by leaving it.
Yes, as many times as you like, until the round closes. Your latest choice is the one that counts.
Declare it on your profile page and it drops out of your ballot. It stays visible, marked, so you are never left wondering where it went.
No. One vote per field, the same as everyone else in the final round. Payment, partnership and office position change nothing.
The office reads it for the Code of Conduct, and nothing else. We do not edit judgements.
Write to the office. If you know someone better suited, their name would help us a lot — but you can step down without giving a reason.
